Rev A
The rawest of the four. FET preamp colour, the most distortion and extra gain on tap. For drums and anything that should bite.
- Most harmonics
- Extra gain
- Fast and aggressive
Four revisions of the classic FET compressor in one plug-in, from the raw first run to the soft late reissue.
$99 Launch price until 31 December 2026. VST3 for Windows 10 and 11, Mac in development.

This is the plug-in window itself, running in your browser. Drag a knob up or down, press the ratio buttons, flip ERA or open ADVANCED. There is no audio here; the sound happens in your DAW.
Double-click a knob to reset it.
The same clip at the same loudness, so only the character changes. Press play, then switch PINCH on and off while it runs.
Each revision changes the ratio curves, the harmonic colour, the preamp and the transformers. The faceplate changes with it.
How the four revisions differ, measured

The rawest of the four. FET preamp colour, the most distortion and extra gain on tap. For drums and anything that should bite.
Full low end and smooth, more transparent gain reduction. The default revision, and the place to start if you are unsure.
Brighter upper mids and more bite. Holds gain reduction a little longer, so vocals sit forward without jumping out.
The softest. Adds a 2:1 ratio and a slow 10 ms attack for bus and master work where the limiter should not be heard.
Everything the hardware does, plus the things you would wire up around it.
